On 22nd July 2009 there was darkness for about 5 min. This is how I experienced the total solar eclipse. It was a bad day with rain and clouds all over. I couldn't see even a glimse of the sun & moon.

I wonder how others in Shanghai could see anything - was just a few miles away fom downtown where others report .....
